Does your school take part in the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) and want to support a local charity?
We’re always delighted to be selected by pupils as their nominated charity, and we’d be keen to work with you to ensure your presentation is fresh and engaging!
Who We Are
Aberdeen Foyer is a charity that helps people in North East Scotland, with a range of free services and programmes.
Our big mission is to support people to discover their potential, overcome challenges, and shape their own positive future.
We have lots of teams who…
-
Support people in tough situations
-
Help people to find jobs
-
Help people to gain nationally recognised qualifications, build confidence and life skills.
-
Make sure no one feels left out in their community
By choosing to support Aberdeen Foyer, you become part of something amazing!
What we would do with the money
Your grant of £3,000 would help us:
-
Run a Summer programme of activities, trips and visits for 100 local young people.
-
Provide 150 starter packs of towels, linen and dishes for young people moving into their own tenancy.
-
Fund 12-session counselling packages for 5 young people to help them through a difficult time in their life.
Your support also helps more people hear about the work we do.
In short: that £3,000 could literally change lives.
