Working hours 36.25 hrs per week (ad hoc need for shift/on-call work with pre-agreement)Term Fixed term for a period of 10 months (maternity cover)
Location Trinity Court, 82A Crown Street, Aberdeen AB11 6ET
Job Purpose – To manage the daily operations of the service in line with our Advantaged Thinking ethos, and effectively lead, support and manage the team of Development Coaches. You will ensure young people who are at risk of homelessness are supported by the service to live independently, access the resources they need to thrive, and gain the confidence they need to achieve their hopes and aspirations such as moving into education, training or employment.

Development Coach – Youth Housing
Role Title Development Coach - Youth Housing (City)
Department Foyer Youth Housing
Salary £24,964 - £28,376 (depending on experience and quals)
Working hours 36.25 hrs per weekOpen to part-time applications for job share, occasional need for evening/weekend/on-call work on rota basis.
Term Permanent
Location Trinity Court, Crown Street, Aberdeen but may require some outreach work across city
Job Purpose: Work with a caseload of young people aged between 16 and 25 who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness to manage their tenancy, live independently and access the resources they need to thrive. We believe no young person should experience homelessness and if they do, it is rare, brief, and non-recurrent. This role demands a youth centred approach that supports choice and positive transitions to adulthood.
