Thrive and Arrive – Skills for Life and Work

Thrive and Arrive is a FREE four-week course designed to support parents to build confidence, improve wellbeing, and develop practical skills for everyday life and employment.  The course provides a supportive, structured environment to help participants refocus on their own goals and take positive steps forward.

What the course covers

Participants will be supported to develop skills across the following areas:

  • Wellbeing and confidence building

  • Personal development

  • Digital skills and digital support

  • Employability support

  • Support with communication skills

The course is designed for parents who may feel ready to prioritise themselves, build new skills, or explore next steps towards work, training, or personal goals.

Course details

  • Duration: 4 weeks

  • Days: Thursday and Friday

  • Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm

  • Start date: 5 February 2026

  • Location: Banff Castle
