The Outreach team provide a safe, supportive and informal learning environment to people in recovery from drugs and or alcohol. We can work alongside you to develop your potential, learning skills to cope with everyday life in recovery. We offer a program of activities and learning opportunities that can be delivered on an individual basis or in small group settings. The aim is to fill your time, have fun, learn new skills and experiences to aid your recovery journey.
You will have access to support from an Alcohol and Drugs Action support workers if needed through a direct referral from the Outreach Team as part of this project.
As part of the learning opportunities, we offer City & Guilds accredited qualifications, including awards, certificates and diplomas in employability skills. City & Guilds offer qualifications in skills development to support you at a personal level as well as increasing your employment opportunities and adherence to welfare reform changes.
We have made the City & Guilds qualifications easy to understand and follow, the style of learning is flexible and designed to meet your needs and preferences. There will be some group work and 1:1 work, and you will receive support from the Outreach Team throughout the duration of your learning. You will build on existing skills and learn new ones along the way.
