Training for Work

Training for Work provides training support for people who are unemployed and actively looking for work. The programme, funded by Scottish Enterprise is open to adults aged 25 and over, provides specialist training in a range of vocational areas and on-the-job experience, allowing people to go on company placements and tap into formal training. In many cases trainees move into a full-time job. 

Employers from small businesses to multi-nationals provide work placement opportunities and are supported by Aberdeen Foyer staff.
