Get Ready for WorkGet Ready for Work is a programme funded by Scottish Enterprise.
The programme is designed to assist young people who may need additional support to make the transition beyond school into the world of work. You can learn new skills and gain the confidence you need to move on to further training, learning or into work.
Get Ready for Work is open to 16 to 18 year olds and helps identify individual needs and offers training in a number of skills e.g. IT, communication, team work and much more.
Get Ready for Work can help with interview techniques and you can find out how to complete an application form or C.V.
Taking part in the programme will give you the chance to try out work tasters and work placements to help you to decide whether it is the right job for you. So if you are interested in construction, admin, retail, catering or another work area and you need a bit of help in achieving your goals, give us a call and we would be happy to discuss your interests with you.
