supported accommodation

Aberdeen Foyer exists to meet the needs of people aged 16-25 as they move towards social and economic independence. For people living in our supported accommodation this will involve learning, with support, to gain skills to be able to manage your own home and work towards becoming employed. Young people will develop an action plan which will help them to improve understanding of themselves, where they are now and how to work towards where they want to be.

We have high quality self contained furnished accommodation available to let to people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and require support.

Since the first accommodation site opened in 1998, the Foyer has housed and supported well over 1000 young people, including single parents, care leavers, ex-offenders, those who have or have had drug or alcohol problems, learning difficulties or mental health issues.

Is it for you?

• Are you aged 16-25 and homeless or at risk of homelessness?
• Do you need support to manage a home of your own?
• Are you ready to take steps towards becoming employed?
• Can you manage without 24 hour support but with emergency assistance available out with normal office hours?
